Experimenting with more complex colouring, so recoloured the chibi.

((I’m sorry but this fucking needs to be on my blog. Plo Koon and his Wolf Pack will forever be the greatest Star Wars characters to me. And the fact that they’ve dubbed the three LAATs ‘Plo’s Bros….’ I-I really just can’t… I will love them into the afterlife.))

Very much agreed. Plo and the Wolf Pack’s relationships make them one of the most interesting (and sweet) groups of characters in the series.

Well, mine isn’t very good, but that doesn’t mean anything about anyone else’s.
If you take “fan art” to mean any art inspired by other creators’ work, I’d say that a huge amount of art, maybe the majority of it, could be called fanart.
Da Vinci’s ‘The Last Supper’? Bible fanart. Botticelli’s ‘The Birth Of Venus’? Roman mythology fanart. Goya’s ‘Saturn Devouring His Son’? Greek mythology fanart. Millais’ ‘Ophelia’? Hamlet fanart. Fanart, fanart, fanart. You get the point.

((*smiles and waves* Su’cuy. I like your Codex fic.))

Thanks!

I just had to do a follow when I noticed that I’m not the only one to have even weirder clone-related ships.

((Oh? What’s your weirder clone ship?))

Way back when I played Republic Commando for the first time, Sev and Scorch seemed rather adorable. They go on at each other like an old married couple. <3

((YEP. Which is why I ship them hardcore. And which is why I have successfully married them in an RP and it’s still going.))

Oh my cute.

Fic: Like Me

Fandom: Star Wars: The Clone Wars
Characters: Cody and Rex.
Themes & Warnings: Kid fic, cutesy fluff, puppy love.
Word Count: 985

Summary:
Cody and Rex were close even as children, and little Rex was already beginning to develop an independent personality. One night, he creeps into Cody’s bunk to discuss his worries.

Notes:
I’m fascinated by clones and their origins, as the whole concept is very morally dubious - there’s more than a hint of slavery and child soldiers about it all. For those such as the Jedi, who didn’t have sinister motives, I expect it was a case of choosing the lesser of two evils.

Cody and Rex apparently trained together before the war. It’s so cute to think of these sweet boys as being close since childhood. As they haven’t got their nicknames yet, they’re still using numbers - CC-2224 will be Cody when he grows up, and CT-7567 will be Rex. I’m going on the assumption that higher numbers mean earlier births for the first generation of clones, hence Rex being an underclassman here.

This fic turned out as fluffy as kittens.

—-

A sudden movement in the dark, and a young clone was jolted awake by his bunk sliding out of it’s capsule. Even though his little body was that of a child only seven or eight years old, he had the instincts of a soldier, and snapped into a crouch on the mattress before he was really aware of anything else.

“2224?”

Someone, another clone, had whispered his number. Only just awake, he blinked and peered into the darkness, just making out a human shape. “Identify yourself,” he ordered.

“7567. Can’t sleep,” the other boy replied. He was one of the lower ranking cadets on the course, and a few months younger than 2224, but they shared a bloody-minded streak and had quickly bonded. 7567 occasionally thought in ways that others didn’t, though, and it wasn’t the first time he’d came seeking comfort in the night.
